Presenting SP & Company Stamps......Falling Snow

Happy Wednesday everyone-
We are half way through the week and I hope that you are having a great week thus far.
Now, I know that you know that I am on Scrapmaster's Color Combo Design Team!!!  Well I have graduated and I am honored to be chosen as one of  Samantha's first SP & Company Darlingly Delightful Design Team .  I squealed, jumped up and down, turned around and called my boyfriend to tell him the great news!!!  The news came to me in the mail, when I received a package of goodies I had won and inside Samantha popped the question!!!!! LOL!!!!!  If you haven't seen these stamps, you have to check them out, here.  There are 12 designs....and yes, these gorgeous stamps were designed by the talented Samantha Peyton.  These stamps are are high quality photo polymer stamps. They come on a 4X6 inch acetate sheet and they are fantastic, very sticky too!

Every Wednesday the design team will be showcasing their designs.  This week I will be showcasing...Falling Snow Stamp Set!! Here is my card....

Is he not perfect!!!!  I had tons of fun making this card, I even tried working with canvas for the first time.  The toughest part for me was, trying to rip the canvas into a perfect square. I stamped the snowflakes and embossed them with white embossing powder.  Then I took my Broken china distress ink and applied it to the background and spritz with water (about 4 times) so that the colors would blend better. I set it aside to dry or you can dry it with your heat gun.   I then stamp my snowman and colored him with copic markers and used liquid applique for his hat, LOVE THIS STUFF!!!  I stamped the snow 3 times. The first one I cut at the top (the furthest line), the second one I cut at the middle line and the third one I cut at the bottom line.
After placing pop dots and layers everything the card finally came together.

This is a perfect stamp set for all those Christmas cards, I know many of us still have to work on!!  I'm guilty as charged!!!  If you like what you see, make sure to visit Scrapmaster's Paradise Blog and SP & Company for more fantastic inspiration from Samantha and the design team.  Also Samantha is kicking off 50 days of Christmas and is giving away some really awesome prizes, so make sure to check those out too!!

I'm submitting this card in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp Challenge:  Sparkle
Wild Orchid Challenge #10: Blue Christmas
Critter Sketch Challenge #40: Texture
Sweet Stampin Challenge: It's all about snowflakes

Hugs,
Calypso
